Perhaps he's got a bitchin' paintjob? wink

Re: Titan Tank [Crystal Frost Boss]

I think there was a Golem or Sphinx type boss described as well? That also reminds me of the Egg Golem. Wow I'm drawing a lot of comparisons, maybe fewer things were actually scrapped from Sonic X-treme than we think.

Re: Titan Tank [Crystal Frost Boss]

For the Sphinx, something like that:
Since a Sphinx has to paws in the front, it could go with those attacking you, and after a while, they would stop, letting you to jump on them and make it to the top.
Kaffeebohnson: I lol'd at that.

^ and it is Omega FTW.

Yeah Ambient lighting because of the time of day.

Re: Titan Tank [Crystal Frost Boss]

I made an improvised recreation of it, I couldn't get the eyes right though, and being improvised, I didn't make it exactly the same (I'm not to good at that)...

Re: Titan Tank [Crystal Frost Boss]

That's a very nice improvement tmsods. Really captures the spirit of the original model?

How about making it look more "metallic"? I don't know. It would be nice to see what it would be like.

Seriously liking this though. Good job.

You know what they say...

All toasters toast bread, not toast!

Re: Titan Tank [Crystal Frost Boss]

thanks, when I fix the eyes I might add in some metallic texture to it.

Re: Titan Tank [Crystal Frost Boss]

Okay I have a boss together. I'm no visual artist the picture is just so you can understand how the boss works. Feel free to redesign how it looks or what ever if this concept is used.

The picture explains it. As far as progressive difficulty he could start shooting smaller projectiles when planted in the ground or shoot his shock wave at faster intervals forcing better timed jumps.

I don't know. It seems cool but I like Titan Tank better.

This was a rework of a similar boss I had together using Eggman. I was just putting what I think would make a good boss fight (gameplay wise, not so much the looks of the boss). I'm down for any idea but what would the Titan Tank boss do?

Now one more question about Metal: why does he have a redish light on him? Those eyes must be really powerful to glow on the floor, which reflects it back on the body.

lol it's the ambient lighting I think.

It is the ambient light is it?

That was my initial thought, that and it lacks a variety so far. What we know is it can walk and shoot a cannon. It also looks more like something intended to be a normal enemy (as most were single function).

I was actually thinking of something like that but for red sands instead, I'm not really fond of the idea of a giant sphinx mech...

neutral dude.

Re: Titan Tank [Crystal Frost Boss]

I personally think Titan Tank is more of a miniboss than actual boss. Too simple to be a zone boss.

Re: Titan Tank [Crystal Frost Boss]

after some research i think you guys are right neutral this could be a mini boss i like the idea of a bigger titan tank since this one kind of looks like a baby version.

when the boss fight actually lays out i think you should have the fight purple bot as a boss once he is defeated the battle is not over the real titan tank should roll out after that maybe something along these lines
