Topic: The Mystery of Candy Mountain: Sort of Solved...

I have a theory that Candy Mountain is the unreleased and unfinished Christmas level. Just think about it.
The Xmas level has candy canes, hence the "Candy" in the name.
And usually, Xmas levels have some snow-related theme, like a mountain, hence the "Mountain". Then again, we don't know where the Xmas level was going to be, so it's a sort of mystery.
Another thing that goes against this theory is the fact that Candy Mountain is the third zone of Yasuhara Hirokazu's flowchart of X-Treme, and usually Christmas levels are some sort of bonus zone that isn't related to any of the story.

Or maybe it was going to be like Sweet Mountain from Sonic Colours...

Also, what the heck were those bearded creatures? They're clearly not Mips, so are they some sort of new alien?
Was it referencing "An X-Tremely Sonic Christmas"?

Oh wait, I'm sorry, it's actually called "Sonic Christmas Blast". How could I be so blind?

Nothing was finished or even close to finished for X-treme. In the words of Senn, "if your desire is to replicate the poop, no matter how amazingly awesome you create it, it'll still have an aroma around it".

EDIT:Also the beard things you talk about...I don't remember them. You mean the ones that look like humans?

Those aren't Mips, not even close in fact.

At least there should be something from Candy Mountain, right?

Nope, in fact the X-mas level was for Senn and his family.

So the Christmas level was dedicated to Senn's family, meaning Candy Mountain wasn't the Christmas level?

Aww... that's really cute.
It warms my heart that Senn made a level just for his family.

Fun fact if you didn't know:The Xmas file date is from 12/25/1996 to 12/29/1996.

Maybe he retweaked the level so his family could play it again?

Wait... after?
Why would make the level after the cancellation of X-Treme?
Was Senn going to give the editor to his family to play or something?

Maybe you guys need to spy in Senn's House, find any Candy Mountain level what Senn made (don't forget of unreleased final version of Sonic Xtreme!  wink), then send that level in MEGA and Mediafire and Tada! Mission Complete! You can able to play that level! Watch Out for Chris Senn coming up and you need to hide. If you don't hide, we failed.

NOTE: I know Senn is upgrading his computer, but this files who he can made Sonic Xtreme can be keeped up, burned into CD and something.

The game wasn't finished. The project didn't go that far into development.
